Infants And Toddlers

Typical concerns and life challenges include that are a start point for seeking services are:

It all starts with a baby… and with the village that it takes to raise him/her/their! Babies and toddlers are brains and souls in constant change, discovering connections and patterns at a fast pace, while facing the realities of our stories. Tantrums, delays, change in sleeping patterns, are only a few behaviors in infants and toddlers that can be overwhelming for you as a caregiver.

As part of our therapeutic work, you and your child will participate in dyadic sessions where you will learn to understand the meaning behind your child’s behaviors. In addition, you will have the opportunity to explore your own fears, frustrations and strengths in your role as a parent. As a result, you will will have the space to explore of how your own attitudes towards your child’s feelings and behaviors might be playing a role in the concerns shared. You will also have the opportunity to learn and discover ways to support your child’s socio-emotional learning and enjoy this unique moment in your lives. In the event that there are concerns about their development, a referral to appropriate service providers will be made (e.g. speech pathologist, occupational therapists, pediatricians…).
